Planetary Resources Incorporated brings CERES Satellite Constellation to Commercial Use



As a derivative of the asteroid space mining program, Ceres is an Earth Observation System that has the capabilities to deliver affordable, on-demand information about Earth's natural resources. Ceres does not just provide pictures, but query-able higher spectral resolutions detecting thermographic properties and compositions of the Earth. Fitted with a midwave-infrared sensor, Ceres is the first ever commercial capabilityoffer thermographic mapping and night-imaging from space.
